PDF-XChange Editor provides support for all Windows editions from Windows XP onward; this means 32 as well as 64-bit editions. The setup wizard that helps you install PDF-XChange Editor on a Windows-powered machine asks you to choose between a Custom and a Complete Installation. A Complete Installation includes the following: core files, plugins (spell checker, FileOpen plugin, Read-out-Loud, OCR plugin), browser plugins, languages, shell extensions. The setup wizard will also ask you to choose between the Free Version and the Pro version of PDF-XChange Editor.
Lots of toolbars are presented at the top of the application’s interface. From the View Menu, the Toolbars submenu, you can pick and choose which toolbars are presented on the interface and which are hidden out of sight.
Lots of languages are available for PDF-XChange Editor’s interface. A list of available languages is available in the Preferences menu, the Languages submenu.
Lots of handy editing functions are put at your disposal by PDF-XChange Editor: rotate document; edit content, edit comments; attach a sticky note, a file, or sound; highlight, underline, or strikeout text; draw using a pencil; remove content using an eraser; place a stamp on top of the document; take a snapshot of the document; handy undo/redo function; several measuring tools; and more.
PDF-XChange Editor is available as a Free and as a Pro edition. Advanced features are reserved for the Pro version.
